Maybe so!
I have been to Miami three times now (twice just this year alone) and every time I go, I consider becoming a snowbird. One can only take so many years of Northeast winters and the inevitable seasonal depression that comes with them after all. Aside from the desirable weather, Miami is a beautiful city, rich with culture. From its gorgeous beaches and its incredible foods, to the art scene, and its hoochie daddies (Sexxy Red said it, not me) there's surely something for everyone.
For background, I went to college at the University of Florida and some of my best friends from college still reside in Florida (in different cities -- not just Miami). But this is why I found myself booking two trips to the 305 this year. This is also why a move back south would be amazing news for my Florida friends, but not so much for my NYC people. And to the latter group I want to say, don't panic! I'm not going anywhere...yet. Although, to be fair I was a Florida resident before I found my way to New York (I have a palm tree tattoo to prove it).
So, no move just yet but enjoy the content from my trip. Maybe it'll inspire you to book a flight. 😉
Note: This particular trip was for a wedding. (Congratulations Adrian and Karla!)
